My Honest Review of COSRX AHA BHA Vitamin C Toner
Finding gentle skincare products free from coconut-derived ingredients is a constant priority for me, which led me to try the COSRX ABC Daily Toner with AHA, BHA, and Vitamin C.
What the Manufacturer Promises
According to COSRX, this toner utilizes their proprietary “GOLDEN-RX Complex” (made with 30% Kiwi Fruit Extract, 30% Dragon Fruit Extract, and 15.4% Apple Water). It is intended to offer daily, gentle exfoliation to clear pores, refine texture, and revitalize tired skin for a radiant glow, all while preparing your face to absorb follow-up skincare products more effectively. It’s designed to be light, refreshing, and watery.
My Personal Experience
I have to be completely honest here: I am just not a fan.
The manufacturer certainly got the “watery” texture description right. To me, applying it literally felt like splashing plain water onto my face. After consistent use, I didn’t see any noticeable difference in my skin’s texture, brightness, or overall appearance. There was no visible glow or noticeable exfoliating effect for me.
The only real positive I experienced was that it didn’t cause any negative reaction on my sensitive skin. It didn’t burn, dry me out, or trigger a breakout—which is always a small win when trying something new. But beyond being non-irritating, it didn’t seem to do anything at all. At the end of the day, you can’t win ’em all in skincare!
